Daniele Zuccaccia

Researcher
Dipartimento di Chimica, Fisica e Ambiente
Università degli Studi di Udine

Daniele Zuccaccia was born in Perugia, Italy, in 1977. He obtained his “Laurea” in Chemistry from the University of Perugia in 2001 under the supervision of Alceo Macchioni. In June 2011 he becomes researcher in General and Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Udine. He has recently received the “Flavio Bonati” prize from the Interdivisional Group of Organometallic Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society. His current research activities concern the synthesis, characterization and application in homogeneous catalysis of metallorganic compounds with particular attention to the role of non-covalent interactions on the structure and reactivity of the compounds. During 2009, his research has focused on the synthesis, intramolecular and interionic characterization and application in catalysis of Au(I) compounds. He is author of 48 papers published on the most prestigious chemical journals (H-index = 20).
